Is it possible to travel on a temporary I-551 if you haven't gotten the actual card yet? (The temporary I-551 in your passport).

Views on this subject are most appreciated.

The stamp will indicate that is valid for 1 year. Thus you are safe to travel on it until you receive the physical card
