Traveling on AP

Hi All,
Tomorrow I am going to my home, India. My husband, who's case's timeline is in my signature will be traveling on AP. Will give you updates on how it goes when i will be back. I will be back after Thanks Giving.

Glad that your husband faced no problem in getting back on Advance Parole. However, I was wondering about the subject matter of this thread as it says about EAD.

How long did you stay in India and where? Seems like you were there for a long time and celebrated Diwali over there. I'm in India now as I'm visiting here.

Hope you had a great time in India. :)

Hi,
I have one doubt about traveling outside US using AP. My GC got approved on June but unfortunately my wife's GC is not approved yet as it got stuck for retrogression. We have to visit to India next year and she does not have EAD(she is housewife) and H4 also expired. Apart from AP, does she need EAD also to come back? My understanding is EAD is not required for those who are not working. Only AP is sufficient.

Please clarify.

I stayed in India for 6 weeks and enjoyed Diwali with family members.
I wrote the subject in hurry. I meant AP not EAD.
Hope you are having good time.
