Traveling on AP while Name Check pending on 485

I am going to travel out of the country using my approved ( 2nd ) AP. My Neme check has been pending for a long time. I am still confused as to when is the name check initiated. Is this is a bad thing for me when I try to re-enter the US using my AP ?

If anyone has done this recently and is pending in Name Check please advise.

AFAIK, there is no connection between name check and using AP. You can travel using AP

btw, how did you come to know that your name check is pending ?

I called up the emergency number ( no help in that case ) and got my lawyer to inquire about my status in the month of March 05. I did all these after my 140 was approved on Jan 6th 2005.

I also conducted an inquiry using the 1-800 number ( April 05 ) and as a result of that, the USCIS sent a letter stating that my name check is pending.
