Traveling on AP / Valid H1 - Expired VISA

Here is my situation:
I'm planning to travel to Hungary on AP (I-140 still pending). I'm on a H1-B status but Visa on the passport expired. Do you think I can face any problems when re-entering the US with AP? Please advise me.
 
Shouldnot be problem as far as You have valid AP and Your 140 is pending OR approved. Problem comes only if your 140 denied before reentry. I would advice to show your H1-B approval along with AP.

I recently went to India and entered again on AP (with expired H1 stamp and approved extension), I faced no problem. I also showed H1 approval notice along with AP. Usually POE processes AP at secondary inspection so do not get worked up when POE escorts you to secondary inspection.
