Traveling on AP should i worry

Leaving for Montreal in two weeks for 4 days, coming back im going threw customs in the airport, in montreal. I heard there really tough over there, could they not allow me two pass? I never used AP yet, do i need both AP and I-485 AND EAD.

EAD is not for entry to US if you keep it no problem
 
Technically an unexpired passport and a valid AP is all that you need to re-enter the US.However based on what I have been hearing from some of the forum members, you might be asked to show your EAD,485 receipts etc.. So I suggest you also carry your EAD,I-485 receipt and Driver's Licence. Take a couple of photocopies of your AP along with the original AP.
