Travel with AP, please help

Could anyone tell me about how to travel with AP?
What do I need to bring with me? Is there anything I need to prepare or pay attention to?

It is always safe to carry your
1) I-485 receipt
2) EAD
3) Travel letter from Emp
4) Pay stubs

I have travelled twice on my AP, but I was asked just my AP. But you never know.

You only need passport and AP with you. Do not show more than these 2 items, it will cause confusion to officer. I had a little trouble when I submitted all documents and end up go to small back office. I've been advised that next time, i just need show AP & passport.

Yes, it's always better to show just what is required (or mandatory). But keep other documents handy. Sometimes officer wants to see some additional documents - like driver license, EAD card, I-485 receipt. You don't need to show them unless officer explicitly asks.
