Travel while H1B petition is pending

I am in my 5th year of H1B. I was just recently transfered to another lacation (state) withing the same company. The company filed a new H1B petition for the new location along with the request for an extension. I received I-129 notice. Is it safe to travel while my case is pending? Or should I file for a premium processing and wait to get the approval? Thanks for your help.

------if you have H1B visa stamp to enter US you can go out and be back before VISA stamp gets expired, you will get White I-94 till your H1 Visa stamp validity. if your H1 Extension gets approved while you are out of US then if Visa stamp is valid then show Visa stamp AND H1 extension approval at POE and you will get I-94 till H1 extension approval
Or should I file for a premium processing and wait to get the approval?
