Travel while extension of status is pending

Hi,
My Visa is expiring March 20. I had applied for an extension on Jan 3. In the mean time I had gone out of country (after applying for extension) and returned back on Feb 6th.
I got my Visa extension approved this Monday (Feb 28)

Now is there any issues staying beyond March 20 as the extension was filed with the Old I94, I797 shows the old I94# and I have a different I94 now...

Which would take precedance - I797 or the I94 date?

No isssue in case of extension.
