Travel when N400 filed

I'm planning to submit my N400 but I have travel plans to India for about a month. Is it OK to travel after filing N400?

I understand if I get FP or other appointments I have to make it on those dates, but is there anything that I should put in my applciation about future planned travel?

Any experiences/thoughts are appreciated.

Given that you have not yet reached the 5-year mark, why don't you just wait until you have returned to file the N-400? Is there a rush?

I went to Europe for 3 weeks after my FP is done but during my vacation period due to mail hold, I missed my Interview notice and I have to schedule a INFOPASS at local office for duplicate IL.

So its a lesson for all, do not plan any trips after filing N400 application due to faster processing.

You can travel during process. No need to indicate on application about future travels as you will have chance to update this at interview.
