I have previous employer h1 visa stamp (valid until july 05) and new employers h1 transfer with extension (valid until March 2006). i'm planning to go india in May 05 (using previous employer visa) and return by june 1st week 05.
how safe is my travel to india and come back?
should I get my new visa stamped with new employer or is it ok to make my trip with previous employer?
what kind of questions would I face at POE?
what documents should I carry to support my return to usa?

I also have similar problem but dint get clear information.
One thing is sure, ifu'r old employer revokes your H1B then I guess no choice but got to Consulate.

---- no problem, when you enter US June 1st week at POE show your valid passport Visa stamp AND the new H1 transfer approval notice, you will get new I-94 till the validity of your recent H1 approval notice, at POE check the date on I-94 and if any mistake point it to officer or ask for supervisor
should I get my new visa stamped with new employer
---- if you want you can get new Visa stamp
or
is it ok to make my trip with previous employer?
---that is OK if you enter BEFORE the Visa stamp expires
what kind of questions would I face at POE?
---- same ,what they asked last time ( keep new employer letter and show ONLY if asked)
what documents should I carry to support my return to usa?
--- valid passport with valid Visa stamp and your H1 approval notice

---- employer can only revoke the H1 petition by writing to USCIS, USCIS does not stamp Visa and canot revoke the visa stamp, Visa stamp is issued by US embassy/consulates and is under US Department of state.
