travel to usa while away for one year to eligible for L visa

hi,

I am in USA for last 5 years on H1B for company A. I am thinking of going to India back for 14 months to work for a company B who will send me back to USA on L1 visa.my H1b is valid for 6 years ( 12 months out of the 14 months in India ).

1) can I come to usa for a month or two on H1b visa to USA after I leave usa and start working for company B ? ( during that one or two month Company A is ready to employ me and pay me the pay. )

2) is my chance of getting L1 becomes less if i come to USA only for one-two months on H1b as described above ?

3) in above situation, does that reset my 6 year H1 or L1 time limit even if i come to usa for some time inbetwen ?

4) do i need to sell my house before i leave USA ?

s you can do what you said. I did the similar stuff. I worked in india 2 years and came on L1 after completing 6 years in US

Initially I did not read your topic carefully but hastily responded. What I did is I went back to India for 2 years
after 6 yrs completion and came back on L1 from the same company so have been working with the same company for last 8 years

do u know what are the chances of getting greencard on L1 visa ? I heard if someone is on L1 visa, if the company apply for his green card, he will get it 100 %. no chance of rejection. is it true ?
