Travel to US on B2 visa and file for I-130 petition

Hi, I am a US citizen and just got married in India. My wife is an Indian citizen and has a B2 visa (tourist visa). She has traveled to US 2 times before. Would like to know if its advisable for her to travel along with me to US and we file for her I-130 once she is there ? She will be just visiting for a couple of months and will go back to India while I-130 (GC process) is pending. She will continue working remotely for her Indian employer while she is in US

or should i travel to US alone, file for her I-130 and then she travels to US on a visitor visa to spend a few months with me ?

Kindly advice.
 
As long as she can convince the officer at entry that she will leave on time, any of those plans will work. However, she cannot work while she is in the US in visitor status.

You can apply for a visitor visa while your I-130 application is pending. But there is a risk that the U.S. Consulate will deny your application for a visitor visa. A B2 tourist visa is a nonimmigrant visa. By submitting Form I-130, you are applying for an immigrant visa.

OP is not asking about applying for a visitor’s visa. They already have that.
