Travel to Norway

Hi Forumees,

I need to travel to Norway for business. Anybody had experience there ? Their consulate web says for a USC there is no need for visa. However I have no GC, expired NP, do you know how do they treat RP or RTD holder ( which one should I apply for ) ?

You can't apply for RP(Reentry Permit ) since you ain't got a GC(Green Card) yet.You should apply for RTD(Refugee Travel Document) and of course you're gonna need a visa to get there.

Since USC does not need a visa to get there ( from the Delta site you attached before ), will a RTD holder need visa ? Hae you travelled to Norway ?

You cannot infer anything from their treatment of United States citizens.

You need to call their consulate and find out about the requirements for RTD holders.

Thanks thankful. I will find it out. Hopefully they have many cases of this kind that they will have a clear rule on that ( especially when dealing with official inside Norway ).
