travel to india

I have my 485 filed july 2007 with PD of Dec 05 EB2 india.And have all documents AP,EAD .I was planning to go to India next week but my lawyer strongly advises not to in case my status gets adjusted.I am currently not working but would go back as soon as I get my GC.

Do you all think when PD are current you should avoid travel and this would be never ending no one can say when you are getting approved ,so how would you make travel plans.

if your I-485 gets approved while you are out of US and have Valid AP then you can enter US with valid AP.
