My H1 visa from Company A expires May 2004. I have a valid approval notice from Company B. But now I've joined Company C and I have the receipt notice from them. I'd like to go to India and return in April 2004. What is the likelihood of facing problems at the airport? Also my wife who has the valid H4 approval from Company B will enter US on a different date. Will she face any problem?
 
The only issue you will have is about the I94 that you will get when you enter into USA. The H1 approval (company C) will have the old I94 number. So after the approval you have to file i102 with local center or go to the nearest POE and get a new I94 based on the H1 approval notice.
