travel to India with advance parole

Hi,

 I have applied for I-485 through my wife. We have received advanced parole documents. My wife\'s H-1 visa is ok. My old h-1 visa has been cancelled by the company. I have applied for a new h-1 and it is pending with the INS. In this situation I have to travel to India. Is advanced parole alone enough to travel and come back to the US? Any help is appreciated

It is not recommendable to travel to india under such circumstances!!!!!!!!!!

Couple of my friends have bad experience travelling to india. One person\'s H-1b visa was cancelled and he is stuck in india. My advise is you should not think to travel under such circumstances. You should call your family or parents to visit you here instead.

You should be fine with AP.

If you have Advanced Parole then you should be fine and don\'t need to go to the American Embassy or Consulate office in India. Just show your AP and 485 receipts at Port of entry when you come back. You don\'t have to and need to mention anything in the POE about your H1B.
