Travel to Canada

Hi,
I'm a citizen of India.
I have applied for I-485, EAD, AP.

If and when I get my advanced parole, Can I travel to Canada? or do I need a visa to get to Canada?

My company wants me to attend a conference in Toronto but I'm obviously a little reluctant. My company is a mid size company and does not understand the immigration constraints too well.

My understanding is that AP does not waive Canadian visa requirements, only the GC itself will do that. So if you ordinarily require a visa to visit Canada, the fact that you have AP will not help.

Someone else should chime in if I'm wrong.

You are absolutely right. He needs a Canadian Visa to visit. Unless he was talking about US visa to reenter, because he can reenter using the AP

Is the AP required to enter US if the trip is less than 1 month? If not, what document I need to prepare?
Thanks

I-94 and current valid status documents

No, AP is not required to reenter US if you do not apply for a visa from US counsul at Canada. As far as I know, you need a valid I-94 and valid documetnation to show that your current status is valid.

Good luck
