Hi
I have a valid H1B stamp from company A until Sept 2007. I recently changed employers and my new company B has already filed for a new H1B. I still haven't received the approval but we have received the receipt notice of the application.
I am planning to travel to Canada to see my relatives.
1. Is it safe for me to travel to Canada (I do have a valid Canadian visit visa) while my H1B is pending?
2. Will I be allowed to enter the US by just showing them the receipt notice of the new H1B application? I do have all the proper pay stubs and documents are in order.
