Travel to Canada after change of employer on H1

Hi ,

I had a H1 with company A with visa on passport valid till Feb 2004. After the company got closed in Sept 2002 , I got an offer from another company B. The H1 approval for the company B came recently. I need to travel to Canada on business visit for few days. Can I travel to Canada and return to US without any problem with the old visa stamp on passport and showing the new H1 approval notice to the immigration authorities ?

yes U can. Show the new I94 that came with the H1 approval. Only if you tried to get a new H1 visa stamp and that was denied , will you be not allowed to enter US from canada.
For all other travel purposes your old visa and new approval is sufficient.
