Travel Period on Advance Parole-How long can we stay outsideof the US?

Another post prompted me to ask the question "How long can you stay out of the country when travelling on AP?"

When I was issued my AP, the officer said no more than 3 months at one time. Any thoughts, comments, experiences?

Since you are in pending AOS, your AP should be use for short visits.
