Travel outside US with Old employers Visa Stamp

A friend of mine was working in Comapany A and has this company's visa stamped in his passport. Now recently he quit Company A and joined Company B. He needs to travel outside of US for about 2 weeks. Can he re-enter US based on his old Company A's Visas stamp. Or does he need to get his passport stamped with new Company's visa. All replies much appreciated.

Your friend can come back if he has the new approval notice. He should carry his new approval notice with him and his old visa that has the old company stamp on it. I am assuming that the visa is not expired. Just show the visa and the new approval notice and he will get a new I 94 at the point of entry. I was under the same situation last year and did not have problems in getting re- entry
