Travel on previous H4

I've changed my employer, but my wife has the H4 stamped that's stamped earlier.

From all that I know, we don't have to apply for her new H4 until the exisiting one is valid, BUT can she travel outside US and come back on the same H4 ?????


If yes, what papers will be required for her to take along?

If she has Valid H4 stamped in her passport with previous employer name she can enter US with that Visa before expiry date and she will get I-94 till the date her H4 is valid
But if at POE she also shows Passport H4 visa and your new H1 approval notice she will get I-94 valid till your new H1 approval notice

So this means... she need not carry any other document with her.. except her passport with a valid H4 already stamped from previous employer !!

what if previous employer cancelled the H1

Hi,
Here is my situation.

My wife is in India with her H4 valid till Dec 2003. I recently shifted to another company and my H1 is in process. I'm not sure if the previous company has cancelled my H1. How to know if my previous company has cancelled my H1? If they had cancelled the H1, will she be still able to come here with no problems in POE?
