Hi,

I am new to this forum and did not see this question answered earlier.

My H-1B (both status and visa stamp) expired in Jan 2002. I applied for I485 in July 2001. I have Advance Parole which is valid till Sept 2002. I am travelling to India next week using the AP.

The question is, should I return my old I-94 cards (which are now expired) at the airport. I have heard that these are required during stamping after 485 approval. Can someone who has travelled using AP clarify? Did you return your I94s?
Thanks.

While going out...

you have to hand over all past I94s. You will get a new I94 (on AP) while coming in.
You can hand them out at the time of stamping. Until you get green card you have to keep getting I94 everytime you enter US and hand them back everytime you go out of US.
