travel on AP, return exactly one day before AP expires!! is it OK?

Hi All,

Planning to travel to India using AP. Expires on Jan/06/2009.
Would like to return after new-year 2009...so, around Jan 3rd or 4th or 5th.

Would there be any issues at the port of entry?

Has anybody come from abroad with only a couple of days left on the AP to expire? What kind of questions they face at the immigration counter in US?

You can come any time before 12:00 AM on the same day of expiration. The point here if any unexpected delay happen due to any reason (which is quite common those days) you will not be in if you arrive after the expiration date

You can come before it expires. My son came a day or on the same day it was going to expire and did not have any issue
