Hello,
My wife needs to travel to India on AP.

Can you please post your experiences with Airlines, countries which easily let people board and travel while come BACK to US on AP?

Please also post experiences on airlines/routes that are not suited for people on AP and should be avoided.

Thanks,
aaifor

I have traveled on British Airways... no issues anywhere. except Heathrow where they lost our baggage. So flying direct this time.

I think the parole document is pretty clear about letting you into the US, and most major airlines are aware of that.. so boarding the plane should not be an issue anywhere.

Coming back to the USA is a breeze.. sometimes they just pull you into a room to check their database, but its a quick 15 min thing twiddling your thumbs in a room.

I know poeple who have traveled on other different airlines,, Delta, Continental, Air India, etc without any issues.

have fun.

I travelled on Delta...naturally exiting the USA is nothing..they just take your I-94 just prior to walking down the gate.

Coming back...Delta agents at Indian airport come up to you and ask if you have a VISA for the USA..."you say NO..I have an AP"...they glance at it an hand it back.

Then you stand in line for some customs/immigration outbound deal at the airport...the Customs/Imm. guy asks again if you have a VISA or GC..you say NO..you have an AP...they also glance at it and hand it back.

When you arrive at US Immigrations counter in JFK for example...they take you in for a secondary questioning...they asked me the "purpose of my visit" and "how long". Handed it back to me...looked away from me and ....I walked out.

Fill out the White I-94 card on the aircraft.

what will I use visa or AP ?

My visa is valid till 2009 and also have AP. What will I show at the airport? I believe they by default check the passport for visa stamp. Do I have to show AP if not asked ?

Thanks.
