Travel on AP (i-94 requirement)

Can someone take time to answer these questions.
1. While entering back on AP,is it required to fill I-94 application ?
2.What are the documents necessary to carry along with AP other than I-485 receipt ?
3. What is the current procedure of passport stamping if I-485 is approved while on vacation and passed 30 days.

Travelling with AP

I travelled recently and I was carrying the following documents on the advise of my attorney.

1. The two copies of my AP
2. Copy of my I-485 receipt
3. EAD
4. Last 3 pay stubs

I must say when I reached here, the US immigration official only looked at my AP and nothing else. Still I think it is better to be safe.

Could you pls. answer the following:

- When you left the US - did you give a copy of your AP/I94 to the airline?
- On your return, were you taken for secondary inspection? If yes, what did they look for/at.

ANS: YOU MUST. THAT WILL BE STAPLED TO YOUR PASSPORT AND MUST BE SURRENDERED DURING PASSPORT GC STAMPING.

ANS: NO SET RULE BUT THE FOLLOWING WILL HELP.
- OLD/NEW PASSPORTS HAVING CURRENT/EXPIRED US VISA(S). THIS MAY BE ASKED AT THE PORT OF EMBARKATION
- EMPLOYMENT LETTER
- 3 PAYSTUBS
- EAD CARD
- H1 DOCUMENTS

What is the current procedure of passport stamping if I-485 is approved while on vacation and passed 30 days.

ANS: HAVEN'T HEARD OF ANY RULE. THE EARLIER, THE BETTER. CHECK WITH THE LAWYER.

In secondary processing they take you to another room to check your documents. In my case they just looked at the AP

You have to surrender your present I-94 when you leave.

When you come back you will get another I-94 stapled to your passport

DO NOT GIVE ANY ORIGINAL AP DOCUMENT TO THE AIRLINE. At Paris (CDG) there was this Air France official who was insisiting on taking one of the copies of my AP but I refused.
 
Does transit visa required to travel using AP??

Hi,
I am planning to travel India using AP.

I have to change connection flight at Frankfurt,Germany and Dubhai.

On return I have to change connection flight at London.

Does transit visa required to travel using AP during the above stops to change connection flight?

Please share your experience
