Travel on AP, EAD with expired H-1B

Is there anybody recently traveled on AP, EAD with expired H-1B visa. Please can anybody share his or her experience?

If you use EAD for work, definitely you need AP. If you don\'t have

any H1-B extension, then use AP, otherwise get it stamped in your country and enter by using the renewed H1-B.

My company is planning to place me on EAD, but lawyer told that she would not recommend to travel on AP. And my H-1b visa will be expired in Jun 2002.

Why did your lawyer say that it is not recommended to travel using AP? I am going on vacation using AP next month.

My lawyer is my company employee. She won\'t get any fees from me. I want know, what are the required documents apart from AP.

Nothing. All you need is I-485 receipt notice (copy or original) and

EAD (if you have one).
