hello,
I went for my VISA renewal at Hyd Consulate on Nov 16th and received the pink 221(g). I have been living in the US for more than 8 years now, did my Masters in Computer Science and have been working for the same company for close to 5 years. I got my H1B stamped from the same company earlier.
But now I have this issue when I went for renewal. I sent the requested information on Nov 17th night.
That being said, can I ask for my passport back and enter United States through my AP/EAD documents? If I ask for my passport and documents back, how long does it take for them to give it back to me? Does it have any rejection stamp? and will that cause any issues at port of entry? It will be very helpful if anyone can share their personal experience in this matter.
