Travel on AP and EAD

Hi,

I'm planning to take a trip and my current status is as follows:

I-140 waiting (6/20/02)
I-485 waiting (11/02/02)
Concurrent processing.

I have an EAD and an AP. I also have received a fax of the copy of the I-485 receipt.

Now, I have a few questions related to this:
1) Can I travel now or do I have to wait for I-140 approval before I do that?

2) Do I need to have AP and EAD in order to return to US or do I need to carry the I-485 original with me as well? Will a photocopy of I-485 along with EAD and AP will do?

3) For some reason, I have two identical papers for AP? What do I do with two copies?

----- You should have AP with you, EAD is only for work and INS Inspector is not going to ask for EAD but keep the copy of I-485 (Original not needed) If asked then show the I-485 receipt, normally they don’t ask for I-485 copy

3) For some reason, I have two identical papers for AP? What do I do with two copies?
---- Keep both identical papers of AP with you, When you come back to US, Airlines may ask you to show AP, but you have to show AP at POE to INS Inspector they will stamp it and will give it back to you ( it is also better to keep 2-3 Copies of AP with you some time airlines may ask for Copy but it is rarely asked )

He advised me take my latest pay stub with me also.
