If I stay outside the US for a period of 4-5 months after getting my EAD and Advance Parole, is that risky??
Do we usually have to give them a solid reason like "family emergency" or something or do they usually grant you AP easily?

Hi Rosie74: Did you receive your AP and EAD
I am monitoring how long it takes to get AP and EAD after LUD.
Currently it is happening in 75 calendar days from RD.
Today is: 12/18/2008
No problem. You can stay outside of US as long as the AP document is valid. Once you have been granted the travel document, it's good for one whole year so 4-5 months is not an issue at all.
