Travel, Job Switch during H1b 4th year extension

Hi All,

I have two questions.

I have recently applied for my 4th year H1B visa extension

(1) Would it be alright to switch job to a different employer before i receive the extended H1B ?

(2) Would it be alright to travel outside the country and come back in before i receive the extended H1B ?

You can switch to the new employer after they filed the H-1B transfer and obtained the receipt notice. I would not travel while the transfer is in-process and would consider premium processing service if traveling is urgent.
