Travel dates

I'm filling up my N400 form for naturalization and the section asks for travel dates etc. To the best of my knowledge i've used my passport to figure out the entry dates; but since there is no exit stamp when one leaves the US; some of them are apporixmations within a day or two.
does anyone know if these have to be exact or is a fudge factor of a couple of days allowed??
 
Month/year format is fine as well. As long as your trips don't break continuous residence or physical presence your fine.
 
that won't be a problem, estimate over rather than under, so if you think you left on say a Tuesday, put down Monday.

and the date you leave the US and the date you return does not count as days out of the USA.
