Transit Visas coming back from India after CP

Hi All,

Just saw an alarming statement on another thread that said that CPers fly KLM because of transit visa issues. Can anyone shed light on what these 'issues' are?

We have our CP interview in Bombay on Jan 4th. We are flying Air India through Frankfurt to Chicago. Do we need a schengen visa at Frankfurt?

All responses will be much appreciated.
Thanks!

The Immigrant Visa packet and the Machine Readable Visa(MRV) pasted
in your passport should serve as valid US Visa.

Look for any posts giving specific info. about Frankfurt airport.

If my information is correct, you don't even change planes at Frankfurt if
you are flying Air-India.

(I had mistyped planes as places earlier)

Previously it was a grey area, but with the MRV now, it comlplies to the UK, France, Germany , etc. requirement to the T.
