Swiss immigration does not identify advance parole. I went through Zurich on February 21st. I called the Swiss embassy in chicago one week before and was told that you need transit visa unless you hold a H-1 visa (not status, actual visa stamped) apart from your AP. So I got the transit visa. Luckly I had with me when I boarded the flight, because in Atlanta I saw three people were denied entry to the aircraft with out the swiss visa. However, once you are in Zurich, no one looks at your passport let alone transit visa. so it is a waste of $42. But you can not board the plane from US with out the visa. Better call the Swiss embassy and get this cleared.
