Transit visa needed while travelling on AP through UK ?

Hi,

Do we need to apply for a TRANSIT Visa for UK when travelling to India. We are not visiting UK, just passing through it (flight stop over).

Yes, a transit visa is required if you do not have a valid US visa stamp in your passport. UK immigration does not consider AP a visa.

No. Visa is the stamp in your passport like H1, F1, B2, etc. pending petitions are NOT visas.

i came to US on student visa but have applied for my GC thru my wife who is a USC and will be using my AP to travel. does tht visa still hold good to travel thru UK or i still need a transit visa
