transit visa , Issues, please clarify once for all !!

It will be nice to have every requirements spelled out for travel especially with regards to transit visa to every one , because there are so many people who are in utter confusion. please help

This issue has been explained in details in 'immihelp' and clarifies a lot of fundas, however this requirement is relatively new and unfortunately(for us) it will have to go through a learning curve; we will benefit if all of us share our experiences.

I found out that Netherlands(Amsterdam) doesnot require transit visa
I know Frankfurt requires
please add on if any other airport or countries requires

most of the Europian countries require a Transit visa only if your US/canadian visa stamp has expired. If you still have a valid visa stamp (H1/J1/B1/B2 etc), then you don't need a transit visa (unless you are changing airports e.g. from London heathrow to London Gatwick)

about EAD and transit visa, i am not clear. will try to find out.

AP is same as VISA?(if so , you donot need transit visa?)

if your H-1B expired and your I485 pending and you have AP
now with AP(same as VISA) do u still need a transit visa?
