transit visa for travelling via Frankfurt

Hi,

Can some one share his/her experience with the travel through Frankfurt ?

Our relatives are travelling back to India and we want to make sure that they do not face problems at the US airport and Frankfurt.

Not needed

Last time I checked it was not needed, Valid visa to U.S.A is only needed.

and that is true even for Visitor Visa.

Is it required if visa is expired on the passport but have valid AP, EAD and 485 receipt?

My relatives will require transit visa as their vis stamp is valid for three months, but the I-94 is valid for more than that.

In short when they are travelling out ( returning to India ) they will need the transit visa.
