Transit visa for Air France

Does anyone know if you need transit visa for France while connecting to flight to India? If you have GC, do you still need this visa and what is the procedure.

Thanks

Can somebody else also confirm that there is no need for transit visa in France because I remember reading here that if you are taking a connecting flight in France, they require transit visa?

Thanks.

bepos : Me and my family tavelled recently in the month of Aug and Sep by Air France to India. I was in the same dilemma as u r so I can understand ur concern. Good news is that you do not need Transit visa if you have Indian Passport and valid US visa on your passport. I had spoken with French consulates in New York and Boston before leaving and there is absolutely no confusion here.

Here is the exact information from French Consulate Boston website.

"For citizens of India, the airport transit visa is not required, if they are holders of a valid visa issued by a country of the European Union and EEE (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway Portugal, Spain, The United-Kingdom, and Sweden), Canada, Switzerland and the USA.
