Hello there,

I have valid visa stamped in my passport thro' my old employer A until March 2006 . Now I am working for company B.

Can i use my old company's (A) visa to transit thro' London and enter US using AP? Is this valid? Or Do i have to take the transit VISA?

Thanks

---------------- if you have valid H1 stamp in passport by past employer name you CAN enter with that valid visa stamp and at POE show valid Visa AND new H1 approval notice and you will get I-94 till new H1 approval notice
in this situation you dont need trasit visa for UK

* if you plan to enter US with AP you need transit visa check the UK embassy/consulate site

Thanks

Hi,
Do I need transit Visa, if I plan to enter US using AP. trvelling from SIngapore>Hongkong> US

You do not need transit visa if you are travelling East ward (via Singapore, Hongkong, etc)

You definitely need a Transit visa if you are travelling via LONDON and planning to use an Advance Parole. I confirmed it with the UK Chicago consulate.

I just read your post again. You should just be fine since you do have a valid visa. All they look at the airports is your passport to make sure there is a valid visa on it. They won't bother who you work for currently. So you should be fine just using it and no need for transit visa. Should save you $69 :)
