Transferring to another firm (without any project with previous)

Hello,

I started with a software consulting firm (Indian) recently. Before joining any project thru them, I now have a permanent job (with H1B already transferred to new firm). I have paystubs and paychecks for the 3-4 pay cycles that I was with the consultancy.

Should I expect any legal hassles from the consultancy because I moved before actually taking a project? Should I expect any probs from the USCIS during my green card process in the future?

IT DEPENDS ON YOUR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT.

you got H1 through A and came to US.
Do you mean you never worked with A?
do you mean you got H1 transfer filed by employer B and joined B
you have 3-4 Pay stubs. How you can have Pay stubs from A if you never worked with A??
