I am studying in a grad school in US university and I have recieved a job offer to join in August Next year at company A. This company wants to apply for a H1B visa as soon as possible to take advantage of this year's remaining visas.
I have accepted the job offer of company A, but I am still interviewing with some other companies (doing similar work) but which might be better for me to join.
My question is , assuming the H1-B visa gets approved (lets say in 2-3 months from now) and assuming I get another offer from company B to join (to start in August), can I transfer the H1-B from company A to company B even before starting work at company A ? I know I will have to pay back company A for the fees they incurred on my application.
I would be grateful if I can get some advice on this issue.
