Transferred to wrong local office

Hi,

I live and work in Columbus, OH, but my company (consulting) located in VA.
My I-485 case was filed in VCS (RD 10/31/01, ND 12/04/01)
On 12/02/02 my case was transferred to Arlington, VA for the interview. I didn’t realize this is a problem back than.
On 4/11/03 I went to local Columbus office and they requested my papers from Arlington.

Questions:

1. Did anybody have a similar situation?
2. How long it’ll take for papers to get transferred?
3. How long it’ll take to schedule my interview in Columbus after the papers get transferred counting that I’m already waiting for almost 5 month?
 
Wrong local INS transfer

My wife's 485 was tranferred to Omaha, Nebraska though we reside in Chicago by mistake.
My 485 has been approved.

RD - 8/23/01
ND - 9/22/01
Tranferred to Omaha , nebraska on March 25th.


anyone with similar situation where the primary applicant has been approved and the dependant tranferred to local INS (the wrong one, that too).
