Does anybody know how long it takes to get an interview scheduled at Norfolk, VA office after the transfer? Also, are the officers there nice or not? Any information about that office will be greatly appreciated!

Hi tumalapj, do you mean your colleague's appointment was on Jan 6? If you know it, can you please share some information about the interview, such as what documents submitted, wha questions asked, etc. Thanks.

VALC, hope you can get the interview notice soon. Can you please tell me what your 485 ND is? Thanks

Finger Printed 2/9: How long to go for Interview

Folks:
I have two issues:
My parents got finger printed on Feb 09, 2005. I also applied for Advanced Parole.

Does anybody know the timelines either for I-131 or i-485 interview?
Thanks.

Why so slow?

I hope to get some notice for finger printing and interview soon.
But according to the processing time in Norfolk, they just processed a couple of days of I-485 cases since last March.
As I know, there aren't that many cases compared to Washington D.C. office.
So why is the processing time in Norfolk so slow?
Is there anyone who has some idea for that?
The officials in Norfolk are lazy guys?
I want to have some information.

Thanks,

VALC

Fingerprint

Finally my wife and I got a fingerprint notification letter from Norfolk office yesterday. The scheduled date is Aug. 12, 2005.
We're worried about stopping all the process for EB3-based immigrant visa.
I don't know how long it will take to finish the final step, but it's getting closer and closer :)
