Transfer to Detroit, MI

Hi guys,
1.How long is it taking to schedule an interview once the case is transferred to Detroit.
2. I appreciate if you can give me local INS phone number of Detroit INS.

I 485 - pending since Aug 1999

I filed my I485 in AUG, 1999. I month back when I called II said that it was assigned to an Officer. I called again two weeks back II said it went for Scanning . I called again today II said my application was sent for Scanning and it is not assigned to any officer.
Any pointers !!!!!!!

You have to seriously pursue your case with a Senator\'s help.
Talk to local Senator\'s office right away and demand an expidite
process. You have the rights to demand that. Don\'t be shy.
Such cases are approved only with help from Senator\'s office.
You search archive and see for yourself how such cases are
approved.

I am currently based at California . Should I contact California Senator or Nebraska Senators

when did ur case got transfered to local office.
mine was transfered on Aug. 31st.
I talked to Detroit INS office yesterday and they said i could get interview during oct. nov time frame.

Still with Nebraska SC

It never got transfered to Calfornia Service Center. I spoke to IIO today. The same old answer that " ...that it should have been approvved by now ... and I send a message to the Officer "
