Hi,

My case was received by charlotte INS office on May 13, 2004 and my FP will be expired by July 17. If I don't receive any interview notice until July 17, do I need to get fingerprinted one more time before interview or it can be done during the interview time??.

Any help will be appreciated.

You'll probably need to be fingerprinted before the interview. Atlanta USCIS sent me a fingerprint notice in mid-June, and a week after the FP they mailed out the interview notice. Each office is different, but I would expect that Charlotte does stuff the same way.

Thanks TheRealCanadian, did you get fingerprinted immediately after you received the fingerprint notice or they had scheduled one?. I remember when I got fingerprinted first time, I had waited one month from notice arrival to actual fingerprinting process.

Seems that you are in bad luck too. My case got transfered to Charlotte early Feburary and did not get anywhere since then. You may need 2nd FP. I got my 2nd one after I contacted Congressman David Price's office. You can go for FP once you got the notice. You do not have to wait.

They had a date scheduled (about two and a half weeks in the future) but I went early.
