Gurus, I need urgent help. Here is my situation:
I came to USA with a H4 thru my mother who had the H1B. I was 16 when we immigrated and started the Green Card process but I aged out before we could adjust status due to processing delays. My Mother, my father and my brother (17 years old) are about to be approved for the Green Card. I was denied because of age-out (Don't qualify under Child Status Protection).
I have heard that it is possible for someone who got approved for green card to transfer his/her available visa number to someone else if they are not going to use it.
If such a thing is possible, we are thinking of transfering my dads approval to me. And applying again for him later on as family 2A.
Does anyone know if such trasfer of green card rights is possible? If so, how do they work? How do we apply for it? Any site addresses which have information on this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
