Hi,

I am currenltly workin for a company located in California on H1b Visa(Company A) .I know an employer (Company B) who is in Vermont. He has offered me to tranfer an approved LC(an employee who filed for Labor left he job).My questions are.

1)Is it legal to process a green card with company B while you have a h1b visa of company A

2)Is there any chances of rejection while filing 485 or EAD because I am currently not having a H1b visa or working for company B

3)Athough I can prove to the INS that my intent is to join company B, Is is mandatory to work for company B for any minimum period after getting GC.

Any suggestions or comments are really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Jharkhandi,

Thanks a bunch for your reply.

Regarding answer No 3) I need this clarification.

What happends if I don't work for a min of 6 months for COmpany B.Will the GC be revoked? If yes, How does INS get to know about this?

Normally when you apply for naturalization

Or whenever you interact with BCIS on any matter the chances are that they may come to know about it.
