transfer h1b visa help!

I been working with Company A for past 4 + years and recently i received an offer from company b. They(company b) will transfer my visa to them. Since they will doing the transfer like this week or next, could I finish up my 2 weeks notice with company A even the transfer is already began?

I am working on green card next year too (marriage)

------------- let the new employer file H1 transfer and once you get H1 transfer filing reciept from USCIS then join new employer and reciept takes 2-3 weeks after petition reaches USCIS. you can work with A for 2-3 weeks if the A dont revoke the H1

So, from what you say, let say the company b file the h1b transfer for me tomorrow, i will continue work for company a until i get the receipt. Once i/they (company b ) received the receipt, i then can start with company b anytime after that right? correct me if i am wrong pls

---------------yes, one can wait for reciept from USCUS to be safe or one can join once the petition reach the USCIS
