Transfer Case from Consular to AOS

Hello,
I wanted to know if any one has any experience changing his/her case from consular processing to AOS.

I am currently in EB3, appoved 140, priority date is current. I have sent packet 3 to NVC. And waiting for next instructions.

How long would it take to transfer my case from consular processing to AOS.
And would I be able to file I485 parallel to the tranfer of case?

Has any one done that?

just like that. i can just file for I485.
what will happen to my case at National visa center?
Do i need to do anything about that?
what will happen to the visa fee i have paid to NVC?

I'm in same boat too. Switching from Consular to AOS

They sent me a address confirmation from NVC. I called her and she said I need to fill the form and send back and also notify USCIS. But I was told last year before filing my case in July that Filing 485 will trigger the transfer action.

The form 3032 they sent doesn't have option that I wantto switch my case to USCIS.

Please advise guys...

i called NVC and asked the question. And I am told that I can send a written notice /letter to NVC stating that I am proceeding with AOS. And NVC will put a hold on my case.
If my dates are current I can apply for I-485. Then USCIS will request from NVC to transfer the case internally.
How long it takes is anyone's guess.
NVC could not tell me how long it will take to USCIS to make a request to transfer the case.
We can just hope that it happens soon :-)

I will update if i get more information.
