My RFE was posted on Aug 5, 2004 and it was updated on Aug 13th. So just give few more days it will take to get updated.
There is an interesting thing happened on my FP notice. There is a wart on my finger which prevents me from doing the FP! My local ASC[Buena Park] refuses that they need a clear FP! I had a surgery to remove the wart and it is healing now. The Joke is that last time in 03,2003 they did my FP and FBI accepted it where the same wart was very big! God only knows about INS rules! When I mentioned this, the ASC director replied that since the last FP was failed and unclear, they sent another notice this time it seems!! It is really hilarious that the notice clearly says that my previous FP expired! More, he suggested me some cream for my wart even when I told him that I am consulting a doctor to remove this wart. He wrote this cream name[as a prescription!] on the FP notice and advised me to consult the same doctor whether this cream was OK!

I think after a period of service in USCIS, people do develop a kind of :D syndrome, I guess! :D

Sorry to hear that dude. I guess that FP guy has his personnel opinion about that wart. My son has wart too. We use compound W2 to remove wart. It works for small wart but not the big one. Dude you have great patience to deal with INS. Hang out little bit and you should get your GC. I have seen lots of approval of 2003. That hurt me. My friend filed his I 485 exactly after one year of me and very poor case compare to mine and he gots his GC even before my spouse get it.

Any update on your case ? They updated online status on sept 21. How long do you think that they should take to approve ? For many cases it takes 2 weeks. In my case it takes more that 2 weeks and still has not approved. What is your best guess ?

I am sorry the way how USCIS is processing a case. Finally, after a long frustration, I could give my 2nd FP on Sep23rd. USCIS updated it on 10/01/2004, last friday. I am going to wait until this thursday. On friday, I am going to send a fax enquiry. Let me see if it changes anything.

Why don't you do that for your wife and son too? It is not going to alter the situation anyway? Somtimes I see that the approval comes first and the response to the fax enquiry comes later with a dull message. It is better to give it a shot.
